Peter William Waterfield was born in London and lived in South England in his early years. For most of his adult years he has lived in Australia and Africa for over two decades and then travelled around the world painting and tutoring art for several years. For the two decades between 1980s and 2000s he built and ran a successful vehicle repair and refinishing business in Africa specialising in custom airbrush works. He has done various painting and art projects on commission and donated his some of art as well as the revenue generated from his art works to charities. He has relocated back to England since 2018 and established a studio in London which enables him to devote himself on art and to be close to his family.

 

Peter graduated from Southampton Art College of Higher Education in the UK. From his childhood art has always been his passion and the perfect tool for him to reflect and explore the rich and diverse cultures he has experienced in different parts of the world. He believes art does evolve with time so that paintings do not have to be just a flat canvas. Drawn from this progressive thinking on art he builds his unique style of art moulding sculpture, painting, creative lighting, motion, and scent together to provide an immersive and evocative experience where the subjects come to live with 3D dimensions and six senses. His new dynamic form of art promises a virtual reality experience and special delights to audience with disabilities as well.
